Lane reduction and temporary road closure on the N1 North, between the N17/Soweto and Maraisburg Interchanges from 21:00 on Friday, 12 November 2010 until 03:00 on Saturday, 13 November 2010
The N1 North, between the N17/Soweto and Maraisburg Interchanges will be reduced to one lane and in sporadic intervals completely closed, from 21:00 (at night) on Friday, 12 November 2010 until 03:00 (in the morning) on Saturday, 13 November 2010.This closure would allow for a pre-constructed toll gantry to be placed in position across the N1 North highway.
The placement of toll gantries is part of the South African National Roads Agency Limited’s (SANRAL’s) Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP).
SANRAL apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused due to the lane restrictions and temporary road closure.
