Lane reduction and temporary road closure on the R21 South between the Hans Strydom and Flying Saucer (N1) Interchanges from 00:00 to 05:30 on 10 July 2010
MEDIA RELEASE issued by SANRAL 08 JULY 2010 LANE REDUCTION AND TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON THE R21 SOUTH BETWEEN THE HANS STRYDOM AND FLYING SAUCER (N1) INTERCHANGES FROM 00:00 TO 05:30 ON 10 JULY 2010
The R21 South between the Hans Strydom and Flying Saucer (N1) Interchanges will be reduced to one lane and in sporadic intervals completely closed, on 10 July 2010, between 00:00 and 05:30 in the morning. These closures would allow for a pre-constructed toll gantry to be placed in position across the R21 South highway.
The placement of toll gantries is part of the South African National Roads Agency Limited’s (SANRAL’s) Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP).
SANRAL apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused due to the lane restrictions and temporary road closure.
