FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THE SLOPE STABILISATION ON NATIONAL ROUTE N10 SECTION 4: WITKRANS NEK CUTTING, NATIONAL ROUTE R63 SECTION 7: OUBERG PASS CUTTINGS AND NATIONAL ROUTE R390 SECTION 1: CRADOCK CUTTING.

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): Friday, 27 January 2023

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of consulting engineering services for the supervision for slope stability measures at six (6) cuttings at the following site locations:

1. Witkrans Nek cutting on National Route N10 Section 4, km 70.7 – km 70.9 (1 no. cutting)

2. Ouberg Pass cuttings on National Route R63 Section 7, km 69.8 – km 71.9 (4 no. cuttings)

3. Cradock cutting on National Route R390 Section 1, km 6.4 – km 7.4 (1 no. cutting)

This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the Sarah Baartman and Chris Hani district municipalities and the Dr Beyers Naude and Inxuba Yethemba local municipalities and the approximate programme for the construction supervision of 24 months including 3 months for the Mobilisation Period, commencing November 2023.

Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4, who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 09 December 2022. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 27 January 2023, Closing Date has been Extended to 03 February 2023. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
