T1.1       TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00) FRIDAY, 17 FEBRUARY 2023

Naidu Consulting (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of monitoring environmental compliance during construction for the following contracts:

(1)  The Emergency Repairs to B999A – Mhlali River Bridge on N2 Section 25, km 11.4,

(2)  The Emergency Repairs to B810 Louis Botha Overpass on N2 Section 25 KM 2.7,

(3)  The Emergency Repairs to B3018 Queen Nandi Drive Interchange Onramp on N2 section 25 km 25.43, and

(4)  The Replacement of Armco pipes at Cliffdale Interchange Southbound Onramp on N3 section 2 km 7.01.

These projects are in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal and spread over the district municipalities of iLembe (KwaDukuza Local Municipality) and the district and local municipality of eThekwini. The approximate programme for construction monitoring is 4 months (Mhlali River Bridge) anticipated to commence February 2023, 2 months (Louis Botha Overpass and Queen Nandi Drive Interchange Onramp) anticipated to commence March 2023, and 6 months (Replacement of Armco Pipes), anticipated to commencement March 2023.

ECO services are required for four (4) construction contracts as indicated. The Employer reserves the right not to award all four (4) contracts to a single Service Provider and Tenderers are to note that environmental services for each construction contract must be priced independently from each other with no cross subsidisation.
