T1.1                TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

 CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00):     Friday, 29 September 2023

 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Royal Mndawe Holdings (T/A ROMH Consulting) invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for the Periodic Maintenance on National Route 8 Section 6 from Rooisand (km 8.17) to Waterford (km 45.00). This project is in the province of Northern Cape and in the district municipality of Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality/ Siyancuma Local Municipality and the approximate duration is 9-months, commencing November 2023.

 Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

 The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 60%.

 Joint Ventures (JV) shall be required with the Lead Partner being a suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratory and the Targeted Partner being a Targeted Enterprise as defined in the tender data.

 Only tenderer who are a Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause 4.1.1 will be eligible to tender.

 Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 Tender documents will be issued in electronic format in a return email and tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Word 2007 and Excel 2007 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

 No compulsory tender clarification meeting will be applicable to this tender.
