1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 14H00): THURSDAY, 31 OCTOBER 2024

PropSol JV hereby invites tenders for the provision of security services at Nomzamo/Lwandle and Boorgat Firland. This project is in the province of the Western Cape and in the municipality of the City of Cape Town and the approximate programme is a contract period of 24 months, commencing 01 January 2025.

The successful tenderer is required to have their management onsite for a handover period from 15 December, 2024, until the commencement of the contract. This handover period is intended to provide the awarded tenderer with intricate knowledge of the site to ensure a smooth transition.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD),

Tenderers that are B-BBEE Complaint are eligible to tender,

Tenderers attended the compulsory clarification briefing meeting.

Tenders that are registered with PSIRA and have at least five-year experience will be considered.

Joint Ventures (JV) are encouraged.

Failure to satisfy the eligibility criteria may result in a non-responsive tender.

must have access to Microsoft © Office 2016 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.

TENDERER’S MEETING

Compulsory Physical clarification meeting (In-person)

A compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held at the Boorgat Firland site on Wednesday, 23 October 2024 at 10h00.

Tenders from tenderers who arrived late at the clarification briefing session will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one

tenderer at the clarification briefing session.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on Thursday,31 October 2024.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenderers submissions may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.

Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of submissions are stated in the Tender Data.
