Tender Notice: | A.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invite bidders to propose the procurement, supply and delivery of desktop and laptop computers to all SANRAL offices. It is intended that a service provider will provide a (3) three-years onsite service and support warranty This agreement shall be valid for a period of (3) three years from the date of award. SANRAL, The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and supporting broad based black economic empowerment. METHOD OF EVALUATION Two stage evaluation for Price and BBBEE utilizing the 80/20 preference point system will be applicable. The primary criteria in selection, apart from costs, will be the degree to which the Bidder/s can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and expertise. SANRAL reserves the right to award the Request for Tender as a whole or in part and is under no obligation to accept the lowest or any tender. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format. Downloadable from the SANRAL website as well as the eTender website of National Treasury. Tenderers must have access to MS Office 2007 and Acrobat Adobe 9.0 or later and similar compatible software. Please take note this is a one envelope system TENDERER’S MEETING A compulsory tender clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at SANRAL Head Office at 48 Tambotie Avenue, Val de Grace, Pretoria, (GPS dms (WGS84) 25˚ 44̍ 47.4̎ S and 28˚ 17̍ 23.2E) on 11 February 2020 starting at 11h00. Subject to the conditions of tender, late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on 05 March 2020. The physical address where the tender documents should be delivered is 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria (GPS dms (WGS84) 25˚ 46̍ 39.9 ̎ S and 28˚ 16̍ 29.4̎ E) in the format required, in a sealed envelope, bearing the tenderers name, the description and references. Tenders must be submitted before 14:00 on 05 March 2020. Each bid participant must provide one (1) original hard copy and (one) 1 copy of original of their entire tender, including all the documentation referred to in this document, in the format as specified. These will become the property of the SANRAL and will not be returned. Receipt of all tenders will be recorded in a register at the point of receipt. The original copy must be signed and dated in ink by the bidder or authorized representative of the bidder and initialled on each page. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and no late submissions will be accepted. B-BBEE PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA Only service providers who are BBBEE compliant and are between level 1,2,3 or 4 are eligible to tender. CLARIFICATION QUESTIONS Any clarification questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail) to motaungh@nra.co.za on or before 18 February. Any question received after the said date and time will not be considered or answered by SANRAL. All answers to questions and/or clarifications will be provided to all Tenderers by SANRAL not later than 16:00 on 25 February 2020.
