Tender Notice: | TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER CLOSING DATE (AT 14H00): 07 May 2010 The South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) invites Tenders for the Periodic Maintenance (Reseal) of National Route 2 Section 6 between Mossel Bay I/C (Km 81.92) and Groot Brak (Km 105.44). This Project is in the province of the Western Cape and in the district municipality of Eden and the approximate duration is 10 months Tenderers should have a CIDB Contractor grading designation of 8CE or higher. Tenders from tenderers with a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7 CEPE or lower will not be accepted. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Joint Venture tenders are encouraged by the offer of bonus preference points, as defined in the Tender data, which are made available to tenders that create a joint venture between the main tenderer and category 7CE or lower tenderer(s). TENDERERS MEETING: A compulsory pre-tender meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at Protea Hotel (Diaz Beach) on 19 April 2010 starting at 10:00. Submission of tenderers who arrive late at the tenderers meeting shall be regarded as non responsive. COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time for receipt of tender is 14:00 on Friday, 7 May 2010. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
