Tender Notice: | T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) CLOSING DATE (AT 14:00) FRIDAY, 6 OCTOBER 2017 The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on Friday, 6 October 2017. The address for submission of tender documents is: The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd 20 Shoreward Drive Bay West Port Elizabeth 6025 Aurecon South Africa (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental application processes for the N2 Wild Coast Toll Highway Section 20 between the Lingeni Intersection (Km 15.40) and the Msikaba Bridge (Km 33.02). This project is located within the Eastern Cape in the in the district municipality of O R Tambo District and the local municipality of Ingquza Hill. The approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by November 2017, followed by supervision of 24 months, commencing June 2018. The Applicant is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and to supporting black economic empowerment. The primary criterion in selection, apart from costs, will be the degree to which the Tenderer can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and expertise. A further consideration will naturally be the equity profile of the Tenderer in management, ownership and implementation. Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4, are eligible to tender. Only tenderers with at least eight (8) years of practical post graduate experience as an environmental practitioner are eligible to submit tenders. It will be an advantage for the tenderer to be registered with the Environmental Division of the South African Council of Natural Science Professions (Sacnasp) and/or any other recognised environmental professional body. Preferences are, therefore, offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format on CD. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.
