Tender Notice: | TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER CLOSING DATE ( AT 14H00): 17 MAY 2013 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders from Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAP), registered with the Interim Certification Board, to act as independent Environmental Consultant to the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) for the proposed road upgrading of national route 7 section 1, between Atlantis (km 26) and Leliefontein (km 43), in order to undertake the following: All the environmental and public participative work related to managing the process of obtaining environmental authorization from the relevant authorities for the proposed road upgrading. The proposal should take into account the requirements of all current legislation regarding the EIA process and associated authorizations and permits. The principal aim of this undertaking would be the delivery of high quality information to the relevant authorities in order to assist them in making informed decisions and to avoid delays with the project. The approximate programme is for the environmental services preluding to construction to be completed by July 2014. Proof of payment must be provided on the collection of Tender Documentation or faxed to 021 946 1630. Tender documents will be issued in electronic format on CD and tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Word 2007 and Excel 2007 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software. TENDERERS MEETING: A compulsory tenderers’ briefing meeting with representatives of AECOM will take place at the offices of AECOM, Waterside Place, South Gate, Tyger Waterfront, Bellville on Tuesday, 7 May 2013 starting at 11h00. COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS: The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on the 17 May 2013 at the offices of the Western Region’s offices of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd.
