Tender Notice: | TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER CLOSING DATE (AT 14H00): 30 October 2009 The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of Consulting Engineering Services for the Letting, Management and Supervision of the Routine Road Maintenance on National Route 10 Sections 9 to 12 from Prieska to Namibia Border at Nakop. This project is in the province of Northern Cape and in the Siyanda District Municipality .The approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by May 2010, followed by supervision of 36 months commencing 20 September 2010. In addition the provision of Consulting Engineering Services is required for the design and construction supervision of a Community Development project on National Route 10 Section 11 between Groblershoop and Upington. It is anticipated that the design and construction of this project will take place during the 36 month Route Maintenance contract. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. TENDER DOCUMENTS: The physical address for collection of tender documents is The Regional Manager (Western region), The South African National Roads Agency Ltd, Parc du Cap, Building 5, Corner Willie van Schoor Avenue and Mispel Street ,Bellville where documents may be collected during the hours 08h00 to 16h00 (Monday to Friday), from the 12 October 2009. A non-refundable fee of R300.00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made payable to SANRAL is required on collection of tender documents which will be issued in electronic format on CD. TENDERERS MEETING: A compulsory tenderer’s clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at the offices of SANRAL, Parc Du Cap, cnr Mispel Street and Willie van Schoor Avenue, Bellville on Friday, 16th October 2009 starting at 10h00. Submissions of tenderers who arrive late at the Clarification Meeting shall be regarded as non-responsive COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time for receipt of tender is 14:00 on 30 October 2009 at SANRAL offices Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated on the Tender data. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
