Tender Notice: | TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) CLOSING DATE (AT 14:00): 15 April 2016 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of consulting engineering services for the periodic maintenance (reseal) of National Route N12 Section 9 between Hopetown (± km 0.0) and Chalk Farm (± km 30.0). The site of the project is located within the province of the Northern Cape and in the Thembelihle Local Municipality in the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality. The approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by July 2016, followed by supervision of 8 months, commencing October 2016. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. It is a requirement of this project that the Service Provider enters into a contract (either through partnership, joint venture or sub-contracting) with a Targeted Enterprise(s) as defined in the Contract Data to perform a minimum of twenty percent (20 %) of the work. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format on CD. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software. The physical address for collection of tender documents is the Regional Manager (Western Region),the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd, 1 Havenga Street,Oakdale,Bellville,7530,Tel: (021) 957 4600,Fax: (021) 910 1699 where documents may be collected from Thursday 24 March 2016 during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday). TENDERER’S MEETING A compulsory tenderer’s clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd, 1 Havenga Street, Oakdale, Bellville, 7530 on Friday, 1 April 2016 starting at 10:00 At least 1 (one) technical competent person of the tenderer shall attend the clarification meeting. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00 on Friday 15 April 2016. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
