Tender Notice: | Tenderer’s are hereby invited on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), for the management of the processes for obtaining the relevant Environmental Authorizations, licenses and permits from the relevant environmental authorities for the proposed upgrading of the N2 section 13 and 14 (Grahamstown to Fish River). All Tenders and supporting documents must be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked: “CONTRACT NRA N.002-140-2014/1ENV FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES FOR THE UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROUTE 2 SECTION 13 (km 62 to km 103.6) AND SECTION 14 (km 0 to km 5.05) BETWEEN GRAHAMSTOWN AND FISH RIVER PASS” Preference will be offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The Documents will be available from Monday, 18 June 2012 and may be requested electronically addressed to the below email address The Document will be sent electronically via email by replying to the original request. In the event that the documents cannot be sent electronically, a CD will be made available which may be collected at the physical address. No briefing meeting will be held for this tender, but the tenderers are required to familiarise themselves with the project and surrounding areas. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on Friday, 6 July 2012 at the Offices of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, Southern Region: Delivery Address: SANRAL House, Southern Life Gardens 70 Second Avenue Newton Park Port Elizabeth Tel: (041) 398 3200 Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on a hard copy of the tender documentation, as issued on CD/ electronically. Any accompanying information is to be bound into the Tender Document. The submission of loose pages may render the Tender as being “non-responsive”. The ENTIRE Tender Document, as issued, is to be submitted. Tenderer’s Pricing Schedule MUST comply with the conditions and unit rates specified. Failure to comply shall deem the tenderer’s offer as non responsive. The EMPLOYER reserves the right to award the tender as a whole or in part and also is under no obligation to accept the lowest tender.
