Tender Notice: | Ingerop South Africa (PTY) Ltd/Knight Piesold (Pty) Ltd JV invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental application processes for THE UPGRADING OF THE NATIONAL ROUTE 2 BETWEEN UMTENTWENI INTERCHANGE (SECTION 22, KM 34,8) AND HIBBERDENE INTERCHANGE (SECTION 23, KM 5,3). This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the Ugu District Municipality. The approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by November 2018, followed by supervision of 36 months, commencing January 2019. The Applicant is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and to supporting black economic empowerment. The primary criterion in selection, apart from costs, will be the degree to which the Tenderer can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and expertise. A further consideration will naturally be the equity profile of the Tenderer in management, ownership and implementation. Only tenderers with at least eight (8) years of practical post graduate experience as an environmental practitioner are eligible to submit tenders. It will be an advantage for the tenderer to be registered with the Environmental Division of the South African Council of Natural Science Professions (SACNASP) and/or any other recognised environmental professional body. Preferences are, therefore, offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format on CD.
