Tender Notice: | The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for THE UPGRADE OF NATIONAL ROUTE 10 SECTIONS 3 AND 4 : TARKA BRIDGE TO CRADOCK : PHASE 2. The project includes the widening and rehabilitation of 7,53 km of rural and urban sections of the N10. This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape within the Chris Hani District Municipality and the approximate duration is 12 months. Tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 8 CE or higher. Tenders from tenderers with a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7 CEPE or lower will not be accepted. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Joint Venture tenders are encouraged by the offer of preference points, as defined in the Tender Data, which are made available to tenders that create a joint venture between the main tenderer and category 7 CE or lower tenderer(s). A compulsory pre-tender meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at Laerskool Cradock (GPS : 32º 09’ 41â€S ; 25º 37’10â€E) on 12 November 2010 starting at 09:00. Submissions from tenderers who arrive late shall be declared non-responsive. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
