Tender Notice: | T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the construction of the Botshabelo Interchange on National route 8, Section 11. This project is in the province of The Free State and in the municipality of Mangaung. The approximate duration is 20 months. Tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 9CE. Tenders from tenderers with a CIDB contractor grading designation of 8CEPE or lower will not be accepted. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The physical address for collection of tender documents is The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, 58 Van Eck Place, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg, 3201 where documents may be collected during the hours 08h00 to 16h00 (Monday to Friday), from Friday 13th September 2013. A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required, payable by means of direct deposit or electronic funds transfer to The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), Bank: ABSA Bank Limited, Branch Number: 335545, Account Number: 1045510073, Reference: Call SANRAL Regional Finance Department, Mr Sanele Ngubane at033 -3928100 for a reference number. Payment without a reference number should not be made, and it must be noted that payment at the SANRAL office will not be accepted. Proof of payment must be provided on the collection of Tender Documentation. Tender documents will be issued in electronic format on CD and tenderers must have access to MS Office 2007and Acrobat Adobe 9.0, or similar compatible software. A compulsory pre-tender clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at the Botshabelo Stadium (coordinates -29.231338; 26.699953), approximately 4km from the site, through Botshabelo town centre, on Friday 20th September 2013 at 10h00. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on Friday 11th October 2013 Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile, late tenders and submissions from tenderers who arrived late at the pre-clarification meeting will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
