Tender Notice: | T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of Consulting Engineering Services for the Routine Road Maintenance of National Route 11 Sections 1 to 4: Bergville Interchange to Volksrust. This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the district municipalities of Uthukela and Amajuba. The approximate programme is for the design and construction documentation to be completed by 20 June 2012, followed by supervision of 3 years commencing 1 November 2012. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Tender documents which will be issued in electronic format on a CD will be available as from 16 March 2012 and may be obtained from the Regional Manager (Eastern Region), South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, 58 Van Eck Place, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg (Tel No: 033 3928100, Fax No: 033 3866284) where documents may be collected during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday). A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required payable by means of direct deposit or electronic funds transfer to The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), Bank: ABSA Bank Limited, Branch Number: 335545, Account Number: 1045510073, Reference: NUMBER (call the SANRAL office on 033-3928100 for the reference number - do not make a payment without the reference number). Proof of payment must be provided on the collection of tender documents. A compulsory tenderers’ clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place at the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, 58 Van Eck Place, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg on Thursday, 22 March 2012 starting at 10:00. Latecomers will not be admitted to the clarification meeting and their tender submissions shall be regarded as non-responsive. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00 on Friday, 13 April 2012. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
