Tender Notice: | The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the independent monitoring of the environmental aspects for the proposed rehabilitation of National Road R23 Section 1 between Platrand (km 52,0) and Standerton (km 82,0). This project is in the Mpumalanga province in the Lekwa municipality. The approximate duration of the contract is 24 (twenty four) months. Tenderers will have to demonstrate appropriate knowledge and expertise in carrying out the brief and has membership to a professional body. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The physical address for collection of tender documents is the regional office of the South African Road Agency SOC Ltd, Room 8, Ground floor, 38 Ida street, Menlo Park, Pretoria, tel. 012 426 6200 where documents may be collected during the hours 08h00 to 16h00 (Monday to Friday), from 28 September 2012. A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required, payable by means of direct deposit or electronic funds transfer to The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), Bank: ABSA Bank Limited, Branch Number: 335545, Account Number: 1045510073, Reference: Call SANRAL (Rosie Kilian) 012 426 6200, for a reference number. Do not make a payment without a reference. Proof of payment must be provided on the collection of Tender Documentation. Tender documents will be issued in electronic format on CD and tenderers must have access to MS Office 2007 and Acrobat Adobe 9.0, or similar compatible software. A pre-tender clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will not be held, but it will be encumbent on the tenderer to familiarize himself with the condition of the site. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on Friday, 26 October 2012. The tender closes at the SANRAL Northern Regional office at 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria. Telephonic, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
