Tender Notice: | T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the FREEWAY LIGHTING MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR: NATIONAL ROUTE R21 SECTIONS 1 AND 2 (RIETFONTEIN INTERCHANGE TO HANS STRIJDOM INTERCHANGE); NATIONAL ROUTE N3 SECTION 12 (HEIDELBERG INTERCHANGE TO BUCCLEUCH INTERCHANGE); AND NATIONAL ROUTE N12 SECTIONS 18 AND 19 (UNCLE CHARLIE’S INTERCHANGE TO DAVEYTON INTERCHANGE). This project is in the Province of Gauteng and the appointment will be for thirty six (36) months. Only tenderers who are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board with a contractor grading designation of 7EP higher, are eligible to tender. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Tender documents will be available as from 13 November 2012 and may be obtained from the Regional Manager, Northern Region, South African National Roads Agency Limited, 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria (Tel. 012 426 6200) during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday). A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required, payable by means of direct deposit or electronic funds transfer to The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), Bank: ABSA Bank Limited, Branch Number: 335545, Account Number: 1045510073, Reference: Call SANRAL office at 012-426 6200 for reference number). Do not make a payment without a reference number. Proof of payment must be provided on the collection of Tender Documentation. Tender documents will be issued in electronic format on CD and tenderers must have access to MS Office 2007 and Acrobat Adobe 9.0, or similar compatible software. A compulsory pre-tender meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place on Tuesday, 20 November 2012 at 14:00 at the South African National Roads Agency Limited, Northern Regional Offices, Ground Floor, Chunnispoort/Long Tom, 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria. Late arrivals will not be admitted to the pre-tender meeting and their tender submissions shall be declared as non-responsive. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00 on Wednesday, 05 December 2012. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile, late tenders and submissions from tenderers who arrived late at the pre-tender meeting will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
