Tender Notice: | The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Routine Road Maintenance National Route 2 Sections 23 to 26: Hibberdene to eMdloti and National Route 3 Sections 1 to 4 Durban to Cedara. This project is in the province of Kwa- Zulu Natal Only tenderers, who are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board with a contractor grading designation of 8CE or higher, are eligible to tender. Tenders from tenderers with a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7CEPE or lower will not be accepted. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Tender documents which will be issued in electronic format on a CD will be available as from 26 June 2015 and may be obtained from the Regional Manager, Eastern Region, South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, 58 Van Eck Place, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg (Tel. 033-3928100) during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday). A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required, payable by means of a direct deposit or electronic funds transfer to The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), Bank: ABSA Bank Limited, Branch Number: 335545, Account Number: 1045510073, Reference: NUMBER (call the SANRAL office on 033-3928100 for the reference number - do not make a payment without the reference number). Proof of payment must be provided on the collection of Tender Documentation. Tender documents will be issued in electronic format on CD and tenderers must have access to MS Office 2007 and Acrobat Adobe 9.0, or similar compatible software. A compulsory tenderers’ clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place on Friday 3rd July 2015 at 10:00 at Maritzburg Golf Club, New England Road, Pietermaritzburg. Latecomers will not be admitted to the clarification meeting and their tender submissions shall be regarded as non-responsive. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00 on 31 July 2015. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
