Tender Notice: | The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the management of the process of obtaining Environmental Authorization from the relevant environmental authorities for: THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE R37 SECTION 2 FROM MODIKWA MINE TO BURGERSFORT. Accordingly, tenderers are requested to submit • a project management proposal, • a fee proposal for the project based on the following Terms of Reference, and • all relevant returnable schedules for use in the evaluation of the tender The South African National Roads Agency Ltd is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and to supporting black economic empowerment. The primary criterion in selection, apart from costs, will be the degree to which the Tenderer can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and expertise. A further consideration will naturally be the equity profile of the Tenderer in management, ownership and implementation. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The physical address for collection of tender documents is 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria where documents may be collected during the hours 08h00 to 16h00 (Monday to Friday) from the 01 April 2011. A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required, payable by means of direct deposit or electronic funds transfer to The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL), Bank: ABSA Bank Limited, Branch Number: 335545, Account Number: 01045510073, Reference: Call SANRAL office 0823864097/0823864104/0823864142/0823864186/ 0823864219 for reference number. Do not make a payment without a reference. No compulsory tenderers’ clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place. SANRAL reserves the right to award the tender as a whole or in part and also is under no obligation to accept the lowest tender. The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 14h00 on 15 April 2011. The tender closes at the SANRAL’s Northern Regional office at 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
