The course must be accredited with Engineering Council of South African (ECSA). The certificate of attending must be awarded at the end of the course. Training Outcomes and Content must be under the following main areas (not limited to): Ø Understanding how the aggregate structure of an asphalt mixture affects volumetrics, Field compatibility, and segregation potential. Ø How to define and evaluate mix types according to Bailey Methods principles. Ø Understanding volumetrics in the field. Ø Explaining Bailey Method aggregate packing characteristics Ø How to incorporate and handle RAP into the process. Ø Bailey Method analysis software and hands-on training on the use of the software. Ø Fine aggregate fine ratio & fine aggregate coarse ratio. Ø Summarize mixture effects due to gradation change The training Provider must provide the following which will form part of the evaluation: • ECSA Accreditation proof. • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points • Course outline Facilitator’s Experience Eligibility Criteria/Special Conditions Only suppliers with the following are eligible to participate in this quotation • Must have a BBBEE level of 1, 2, 3 and 4 and EME • The course must be accredited with Engineering Council of South African (ECSA). • The certificate of attending must be awarded at the end of the course. |
