OUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY SOC LIMITED CONTRACT SANRAL R.056-050-2021/1F CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE INDWE EROSION STABILISATION T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): Friday, 20 August 2021 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of Consulting Engineering Services for the Indwe Erosion Stabilisation. This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the district municipality/local municipality of Chris Hani and the approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by September 2022 followed by supervision of 8 months, commencing September 2023. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and who is an EME or a QSE are eligible to tender. It is a requirement of this project that the tenderer sub-contract a minimum of 30% (thirty percent) of the work to Targeted Enterprises as defined in the Contract Data, unless the tenderer is an EME or QSE with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2, in which case there are no sub-contracting requirements. Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software. Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive. TENDERER’S MEETING There is no clarification meeting for this tender. The closing date has been extended to 11:00 on Friday, 27 August 2021. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
