Tender Notice: | T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1) The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Routine Road Maintenance of National Route R71 from Tzaneen to Letsitele, R529 from Giyani to Letsitele, R36 from Mpumalanga Border to Tzaneen, R532 from Mpumalanga Border to R36. This project is in the province of Limpopo. Only tenderers who are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board with a contractor grading designation of 7CE or higher, are eligible to tender. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. Tender documents which will be issued in electronic format on a CD will be available as from 28 September 2015 and may be obtained from the Regional Manager, Northern Region, South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria (Tel. 012 426 6200) during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday). Tender documents in electronic format on a CD will be available at no cost. Tender documents will be issued in electronic format on CD and tenderers must have access to MS Office 2007 and Acrobat Adobe 9.0, or similar compatible software. A compulsory tenderers’ clarification meeting with representatives of SANRAL will take place on 14 October 2015 at 10:00 at the SANRAL (Corporate Office), 48 Tambotie Avenue, Val de Grace, Pretoria. Latecomers will not be admitted to the clarification meeting and their tender submissions shall be regarded as non-responsive. This meeting has to be attended by a technical competent person employed by the Tenderer. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00 on 30 October 2015. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
