TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd Eastern Region: 58 van Eck Place Mkondeni Pietermaritzburg Naidu Consulting (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for the Upgrade of National Route 2, Section 25, from Umgeni Interchange (Km 20.72) to South of the Mount Edgecombe Interchange (Km 30.45). This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the district municipality of eThekwini Metro. The approximate programme for design is to be completed by October 2024, followed by construction monitoring of 54 months, commencing August 2025. The Applicant is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and to supporting black economic empowerment. Only tenderers • who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software. Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date (Friday, 16 February 2024). Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
