TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Naidu Consulting  invites  suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories  for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for the flood repairs to Main Road P398/1 from Mdloti i/c to Mdloti River Bridge, M4 roadway between La Mercy and Desainager, Main Road P398/2 from Umdloti interchange to Westbrook Beach, Main Road P2-2 between Fairbreeze and Kwadukuza and the Provincial Route P107 at the Nonoti River Bridge, km 9.8 within the Kwadukuza Local Municipality and the iLembe District Municipality. This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the district municipality of eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality and the approximate duration is 12 months, commencing in May 2023.

 Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

 The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65%.

 Only tenders that comply with the following B-BBEE contributor status levels are eligible to tender:

·        The Tenderer must have a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.

 Documents may be requested from 6 April 2023 at 11:00 during the hours 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday).

 Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 Tender documents will be issued in electronic format in a return email and tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Word 2007 and Excel 2007 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

 TENDERER’S MEETING

 There will be a compulsory clarification meeting to be held on 13 April 2023, the link to the meeting will be shared by the Employer.
