The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of consulting engineering services for the administration and construction monitoring for the periodic maintenance of National Route R22 Section 3 from Lower Mkuzi (km 0.0) to Mseleni (km 41.1). This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the Umkanyakude District Municipality and in the Big 5 Hlabisa and Umhlabuyalingana Local Municipalities and the approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by January 2025, followed by supervision of 12 months, commencing June 2025.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender. 

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

Non-Compulsory Physical clarification meeting (In-person)

A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held at Ascot Conference Venue, 210 Woodhouse Road, Pietermaritzburg on 15 September 2023 at 09h30 for 11h00. Tenderers must pre-book for attendance at the clarification briefing meeting. Due to restrictions on numbers of attendees, only one representative per tenderer/company can attend the briefing meeting. A request to attend the clarification briefing meeting must be sent to ProcurementER5@sanral.co.za the contact person listed on this Tender Notice.

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 17 November 2023.
