TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd 38 Ida Street Menlo Park Pretoria 0081 SMEC SOUTH AFRICA (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for THE IMPROVEMENT ON NATIONAL ROAD R54 SECTION 1 FROM POTCHEFSTROOM (KM 0.00) TO PREVIOUS NW/GP BORDER (KM 41.60).This project is in the province of North West and in the JB Marks Local Municipality and in Gauteng Province under Merafong City Local Municipality. Potchefstroom is the nearest major town to the project. The approximate programme for design is to be completed by September 2024, followed by construction monitoring of 42 months, commencing March 2025. Only tenderers · who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format from the SANRAL website using the following link https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tenders/. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software. Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date 2 February 2024. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive. COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on 1 March 2024. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data. |
