SUB-CONTRACT FOR SITE MATERIALS LABORATORY FOR THE UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROUTE R336 BETWEEN KIRKWOOD AND ADDO: PHASE 2 FROM KM 30.5 TO KM 48.2

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (INCORPORATING SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): Friday, 28 April 2023

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Royal HaskoningDHV (Pty) Ltd invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for CONTRACT SANRAL R.336-010-2017/2 C-SL FOR SUB-CONTRACT FOR SITE MATERIALS LABORATORY FOR THE UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROUTE R336 BETWEEN KIRKWOOD AND ADDO: PHASE 2 FROM KM 30.5 TO KM 48.2. This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Sarah Baartman and the approximate duration of construction is 27 months including 3 Months for the Mobilisation Period , commencing in May 2023.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65%.

Joint Ventures (JV) shall be required with the Lead Partner being a suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratory and the Targeted Partner being a Targeted Enterprise as defined in the tender data.

Only tenders that comply with the following B-BBEE contributor status levels are eligible to tender:

• The Joint Venture shall have a consolidated project specific B-BBEE scorecard of status Level 1 or 2 B-BBEE contributor for every tender

• Lead Partner must have a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.

• Targeted Partner must have a B-BBEE contributor level of 1 or 2.

No compulsory tender clarification meeting will be applicable to this tender.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 28 April 2023

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
