The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of BVi Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for the undertaking of the site laboratory sub-services in accordance with SANS 3001 for the Improvement of National Road R516 Section 1 from R511 (km 0.00) to Tooyspruit (km 36.67). This project is in the Limpopo province and in the Waterberg district municipality and the approximate duration is 24 months, commencing in October 2025.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 75%.

Only tenderer who are a Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause C 2.1 will be eligible to tender.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available from 27 August 2025 at no cost in electronic format downloadable from the SANRAL’s website. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 03 September 2025. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if any material amendment/s contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.

A tenderer’s clarification briefing will be send to those who have completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

 The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00, 17 September 2025.

 Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

 Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
