Ndodana Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for the Special Maintenance on National Route R396 Section 6 from Maclear (km 0.00) to the N2 Intersection Near Tsolo (km 61.18). This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Joe Gqabi and OR Tambo District Municipalities and the Elundini and Mhlontlo Local Municipalities. The approximate programme for design is to be completed by September 2024, followed by construction monitoring of 30 months, commencing February 2025.

Only tenderers who meet the minimum requirements for Key Persons and are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data, Clause 4.1.1 are eligible to tender.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format from the SANRAL website using the following link https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tenders/.  Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within three (3) days from the tender advertisement date (8 March 2024 to joel@ndodana.co.za).  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Tuesday, 26 March 2024.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
