 ERRATUM TENDER NOTICE FOR CONTRACT SANRAL X.002-063-2018/1-C08

FOR REPAIRS TO BRIDGE PARAPETS; R33    SECTION 6 - PIET RETIEF/ AMSTERDAM B3297 AT KM 27.6.

The erratum aims to amend the tender requirements in the tender advert and tender document that was published on 17 February 2023 on SANRAL website and National Treasury E-tender portal.

The tender document amendments are detailed on addendum no. 3 attached to this erratum.

THE TENDERER IS REQUESTED TO:

incorporate all amendments as indicated in the addendum in the original tender document that was advertised on 17 February 2023.

Complete form A1.1 and submit it by emailing to ProcurementNR2@sanral.co.za not later than the date of 07 June 2023. Please note that all tenderer/s that have previously submitted form A.1.1, need NOT to submit the form again.

Please note that there will be a non-compulsory clarification meeting for this tender planned to take place on the date of 14 June 2023 at 10:00am.

The closing date for this tender is amended to close on 13 July 2023 at 11:00

REVISED TENDER ADVERT: CONTRACT SANRAL X.002-063-2018/1-C08

T1.1     TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): FRIDAY, 14 APRIL 2023

CLOSING DATE: REPLACE WITH (AT 11:00): THURSDAY, 13 JULY 2023

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of consulting engineering services for the resurfacing on national road R81 section 1 from km 37.0 to km 61.19 and km 71.12 to km 75.40. This project is in the province of Limpopo and in the district municipalities of Capricorn and Mopani and the approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by January 2024, followed by supervision of 15 months, commencing June 2024.

Replace the following sentence:

Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender. 

Replace with the following: 

“Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.” 

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

 Replace the following sentence:

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 10 March 2023.   Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 Replace with the following: 

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 7 June 2023.   Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 NB: All tenderers that have previously submitted Form A.1.1, need NOT to re-submit the form.

TENDERER’S MEETING

Replace the following sentence:

 A tender clarification briefing presentation is available to be downloaded from the SANRAL website by the following link: https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 14 March 2023 at 11:00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).

 Replace with the following: 

 Non-compulsory Clarification Meeting (Virtual)

A tender clarification briefing presentation is available to be downloaded from the SANRAL website by the following link: https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national.  A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 12 June 2023 at 10:00 where the project will be presented.

 A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).

 A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

 Replace the following sentence:

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Friday 14 April 2023.

 Replace with the following: 

 The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Thursday, 13 July 2023.

 Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.

 Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.

 Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
