TENDER NOTICE ERRATUM ERRATUM TENDER NOTICE FOR CONTRACT SANRAL X.002-188-2023/1 FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROUTE R33 FROM MPUMALANGA / KWAZULU-NATAL PROVINCIAL BOUNDARY TO MKHONDO MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY AND N2 FROM MPUMALANGA/KWAZULU-NATAL PROVINCIAL BOUNDARY TO MKHONDO MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY. The erratum aims to amend the tender requirements in the tender advert and tender document that was published on 3 March 2023 on SANRAL website and National Treasury E-tender portal. The tender document amendments are detailed on addendum no. 3 attached to this erratum. THE TENDERER IS REQUESTED TO: incorporate all amendments as indicated in the addendum in the original tender document that was advertised on 3 March 2023. Complete form A1.1 and submit it by emailing to ProcurementNR4@sanral.co.za not later than the date of 31 May 2023. Please note that all tenderer/s that have previously submitted form A.1.1, need NOT to submit the form again. The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Routine Road Maintenance of National Route R33 from Mpumalanga / KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Boundary To Mkhondo Municipal Boundary And N2 From Mpumalanga / Kwazulu-Natal Provincial Boundary To Mkhondo Municipal Boundary. This project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the district of Gert Sibande in Mkhondo Local Municipality. The approximate duration is 60 months as Contract data Sub-Clause C1.1.3.3. CIDB Regulation 25 (1B) will be applicable to this contract.
Replace the following sentence: Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and QSE or Generic who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.
Replace with the following: “Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender.” Delete the Following This tender includes the following compulsory subcontracting to Targeted Enterprises as in the Appendix to Tender: Contract Data subclause D.
Replace with the following: It is a requirement of this project that the successful tenderer subcontract a minimum of 50 percent (50 %) or higher as tendered of the work by the end of the contract to Targeted Enterprise(s) as defined in the Contract Data.

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1)

[TK1] CIDB Regulation 25 (1B) will be applicable to this contract.
Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and QSE or Generic, and [TK2] who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at the tender closing date ; and meet the stipulated minimum threshold for local content and production as stated in the Tender Data are eligible to tender.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7CE or higher, however, tenderers attention is drawn to clause C.2.1 of the Tender Data when submitting their tender.
Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises but with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25(1B) or 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, will not be accepted.
