ERRATUM TENDER NOTICE FOR CONTRACT SANRAL X.002-193-2023/1F 

CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROAD R38 FROM THE CHIEF ALBERT LUTHULI MUNICIPAL BORDER TO BARBERTON, R37 FROM THABA CHWEU MUNICIPAL BORDER TO MBOMBELA, R40 FROM BARBERTON OVER MBOMBELA TO THE LIMPOPO BORDER, AND N4 FROM ENOS MABUZA INTERSECTION TO THE CROCODILE VALLEY.

The erratum aims to amend the tender requirements in the tender advert and tender document that was published on 30 March 2023 on SANRAL website and National Treasury E-tender portal.

The tender document amendments are detailed on addendum no. 3) attached to this erratum.

The tenderer is requested to:

Please incorporate all amendments as indicated in the addendum in the original tender document that was advertised on 30 March 2023.

Please complete form A1.1 and submit it by emailing to ProcurementNR2@sanral.co.za not later than the date of 31 May 2023. Please note that all tenderer/s that have previously submitted form A.1.1, need NOT to submit the form again.

Please note that there will be a non-compulsory clarification meeting for this tender planned to take place on the date of 06 June 2023 at 10:00

The closing date for this tender is amended to close on 27 June 2023 at 11:00

 T1.1     TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER/SBD1

 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of Consulting Engineering Services for the Routine Road Maintenance of National Road R38 From the Chief Albert Luthuli Municipal Border To Barberton, R37 From Thaba Chweu Municipal Border To Mbombela, R40 From Barberton Over Mbombela To The Limpopo Border, And N4 From Enos Mabuza Intersection To The Crocodile Valley. This project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the district municipality of Enhlanzeni and the approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by December 2023, followed by supervision of 60 months, commencing February 2024.

 Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

Replace the following sentence:

Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and who is an EME or a QSE, who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1.1, at tender closing are eligible to tender.

Replace with the following: 

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that 1 (one) JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 6 April 2023.  Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

 Replace with the following:

A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 06 June 2023 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).
