TENDER NOTICE 

WBHO Construction (Pty) Ltd invites experienced Enterprises to a tender briefing session for Contract N.002-340-2015/2_SC01 for the

IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE N2 SECTION 34 BETWEEN LEIDEN (KM59.0) CAMDEN (KM 87.4) on behalf of South African National Roads Agency Soc Limited (SANRAL). The project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the Msukaligwa Local Municipality under Gert Sibande District Municipality. 

Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted areas falling under Msukaligwa Local Municipality. The targeted Designated Group ownership for these packages is indicated in the table below: 

These tenders will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion and the price and preference points system. Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders: 

a)     B-BBEE Level 1 or 2 contributor. 

b)     Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE). 

c)     Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD). 

d)     An award will only be made to preferred tenderers that are:

•       Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COID); and 

•       Tax Compliant with South African Revenue Service (SARS) 

Note: Tenderers should not be a member of the Public Liaison Committee (PLC), or an employee of or affiliated to any Municipal and Government Department. Sub-contractors are required for the following subcontracts:

Notes to Tenderers:  

a)     WBHO will reserve the right to negotiate feasible rates with the preferred tenderers if necessary.  

b)     Tenderers may submit tenders for all sub-contracts in this Tender Notice, but only 1 (one) subcontract will be let per preferred Tenderer at any one time for this project.

The tender and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked: 

“SUBCONTRACT SANRAL N.002-340-2015/1_SC01 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROUTE N2 SECTION 34 FROM PIET RETIEF (KM 0) TO VERZAMELING (KM 30) – (SC 01: TRAFFIC ACCOMODATION)” and shall be delivered by hand and placed in the tender box marked “N2 LEIDEN Tender Box” WBHO Project Information & Training Centre, Shop No.13, F & J Building, 41 Jan Van Riebeeckstreet, Ermelo).
