T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for PANEL OF ENGINEERING CONSULTANS FOR CONVENTIONAL CATEGORY 2(PERIODIC & SPECIAL MAINTENANCE AND CERTAIN STRENGTHENING PROJECTS FOR WORKS ACROSS SOUTH AFRICA

Projects will be based in all South African 60 Provinces on an as and when required basis during the period of five (5) years.

Tenderers shall confirm and indicate Provinces that they are able to perform the project. SANRAL shall appoint maximum of 60 Tenderers in the panel. Tenderers can respond to all provinces or any of the province (selective).

Should less than (60) Tenderers pass the evaluation criteria, the award will continue with the Tenderers who passed the evaluation criteria.

Tenderers will only be appointed for work in their specified Province. The Tenderers will be appointed for specific project through a rotation process.

The Rotation process will be based on Tenderer capacity, ability to work in specific province, availability of Personnel and complexity of the project.

The rotation will apply in circumstances where similar facts exists, complexity where specialization is required, emergency, etc. Before allocation of the work, the Tenderer shall be requested to indicate the availability of resources required.

A compulsory briefing session

A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on the 2 December 2024, at 14H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late.

Late arrivals (15 Minutes late) will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

A tender clarification briefing presentation will be sent to all Tenderers who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
