T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for: FOR THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF QUAGGA AND PELINDABA TOLL PLAZAS ON THE N4 MAGALIES TOLL ROAD. 

This project is in the Gauteng province, and the toll plazas are in the Metropolitan municipality of Tshwane. The approximate duration is 73.5 months including 6 weeks for the Establishment Period.  The approximate duration includes the Design-Build and Operation Service Period. 

Note: the successful Tenderer shall be required to appoint the Incumbent System Integrator and a Nominated Subcontractor, that will be nominated by SANRAL, for the Design Build Operations and Maintenance of the Toll System for this project.

A compulsory briefing session

A non-compulsory briefing session will be conducted virtually on the 13^th of October 2025, at 12H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session link will go live an hour before to ensure tenders complete the register. Information will not be repeated for the benefit of Tenderers arriving late.

Late arrivals (15 Minutes late) will not be allowed to participate in the meeting. A Tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one Tenderer at the tender briefing meeting. 

A tender-class briefing presentation will be sent to all Tenderers who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to ensure they receive the presentation.
