TENDER NOTICE ERRATUM ERRATUM TENDER NOTICE FOR CONTRACT SANRAL: R.036-090-2020/1 THE RESURFACING ON NATIONAL ROUTE R36 SECTION 9 FROM km 0.0 to N1 (km 17.85) The erratum aims to amend the tender requirements in the tender advert and tender document that was published on 24 February 2023 on SANRAL website and National Treasury E-tender portal as well as CIDB. The tender document amendments are detailed on Addendum No.04 attached to this erratum. THE TENDERER IS REQUESTED TO: Incorporate all amendments as indicated in the addendum in the original tender document that was advertised on 24 February 2023. Complete Form A1.1 and submit it by emailing to ProcurementNR5@sanral.co.za not later than 30 May 2023. Please note that there will be a non-compulsory clarification meeting for this tender planned to take place on 02 June 2023 at 11:00. Tenderers who attended the 1st clarification briefing meeting are encouraged to attend the 2nd clarification briefing meeting. The closing date for this tender is amended to 27 June 2023 at 11:00.
AMENDED TENDER ADVERT IS AS FOLLOWS:
SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY SOC LIMITED CONTRACT SANRAL R.036-090-2020/1 FOR THE RESURFACING OF NATIONAL ROAD R36 SECTION 9 FROM km 0.0 TO N1 (km 17.85)
T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)
Delete the following: “CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): 05 April 2023” Replace with the following: “CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): 27 June 2023” The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the resurfacing of National Road R36 Section 9 between the Botlokwa / Daviesville intersection (km 0.0) and the intersection with the N1 (km 17.85). This project is in the province of Limpopo in the district municipalities of Capricorn and Vhembe and local municipalities of Molemole and Makhado. The approximate duration is 15 months including 3 months for the Mobilisation Period.
Delete the following: “CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this contract. Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and who is an EME or a QSE and who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum threshold designated for local production and content as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender.”
Replace with the following: “CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this contract. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum threshold designated for local production and content as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender. It is a requirement of this project that the successful tenderer subcontract a minimum of 40 percent (40 %) of the work by the end of the contract to Targeted Enterprise (s) as defined in the Contract Data. No mandatory subcontracting requirements for EME”
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7CE or higher, however tenderers attention is drawn to clause C.2.1.1 of the Tender Data when submitting their tender. Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software. Delete the following: Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 03 March 2023. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.” Replace with the following: “Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 30 May 2023. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.”
TENDERER’S MEETING Delete the following: “A tenderer’s clarification briefing presentation is available to be downloaded from the SANRAL website by the following link: https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tenders/. A compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held virtually via MS Teams on 08 March 2023.” Replace with the following: “A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held virtually via MS Teams on 02 June 2023 at 11:00.” A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1). A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS Delete the following: “The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 05 April 2023.” Replace with the following: “The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 27 June 2023.” Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
