CONTRACT SANRAL N.002-267-2024/2
FOR THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF TOLL PLAZAS ON THE N2 NORTH COAST TOLL ROUTE
CLOSING DATE (at 11:00): THURSDAY, 6 APRIL 2023
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Operations and Maintenance of Toll Plazas on the N2 North Coast Toll Route. This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the eThekwini metro and in the district municipalities of iLembe and uThungulu. The approximate duration is 73.5 months including 6 weeks for the Establishment Period. The approximate duration includes the Design-Build and Operation Service Period.
Note: the successful tenderer shall be required to appoint a Nominated Subcontractor that will be nominated by SANRAL, for the Design Build Operations and Maintenance of the Toll System for this project
SANRAL is also planning to roll out their national Toll System on all the Toll Plaza/s within the next 6 years, upon which the Nominated Subcontract will come to an end. The Contractor will be notified of this at least 6 months in advance. The minimum duration of the Nominated Subcontract will be 37.5 months.
Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1,2,3 or 4, are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender. It is a requirement that the tenderer subcontract a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the work to Targeted Enterprise(s) by the end of the contract

Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.
Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender by 24 January 2023. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held at King Shaka Airport Toll Plaza on 1 February 2023 at 09h00 where the project will be presented.[LS(9]
A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on 6 April March 2023.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, email, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
