T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for THE ISANDLWANA ROADS UPGRADE – PACKAGE 1 [UPGRADE OF PROVINCIAL ROAD P372]

This project is located at Nquthu/ Isandlwana area which is within the jurisdiction of the Nquthu Local Municipality and uMzinyathi District Municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal. The approximate duration is 21 months including 3 Months for the Mobilisation Period.

Only tenderers who are a CIDB contractor grading of 8CE or higher as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers.

Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender.

A compulsory briefing session

A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on the 04 November 2024, at 12H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session link will go live an hour before to ensure tenders complete the register . Information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late.

Bidders are requested to forward their email address with a subject SANRAL S.004-005-2020/1R in order to be provided a link to the briefing session before 17h00 Tuesday,31 October 2024. No link will be shared on the day of the briefing.

The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

A tender clarification briefing presentation will be sent to all Bidders who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
