ERRATUM TO TENDER NOTICE PUBLISHED ON 10 MARCH 2023 FOR CONTRACT SANRAL X.004-049-2018/1D-SS4

 T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites suitably qualified tenderers for TENDER SANRAL X.004-049-2018/1D-SS4 PERCUSSION AND CORE DRILLING SERVICES TO LOCATE, PROSPECT AND SECURE MATERIAL SOURCES ALONG THE NATIONAL ROUTES IN THE PROVINCE OF THE FREE STATE.

 The Tender includes two packages:

 CONTRACT SANRAL X.004-049-2018/1D-SS4A: PERCUSSION AND CORE DRILLING SERVICES TO LOCATE, PROSPECT AND SECURE MATERIAL SOURCES ALONG THE NATIONAL ROUTES IN THE PROVINCE OF THE FREE STATE – PACKAGE 1. This project is in the province of the Free State province and in the district municipalities of Fezile Dabi, Lejweleputswa and Thabo Mofutsanyana. The approximate duration is 11 months.

 AND

CONTRACT SANRAL X.004-049-2018/1D-SS4B: PERCUSSION AND CORE DRILLING SERVICES TO LOCATE, PROSPECT AND SECURE MATERIAL SOURCES ALONG THE NATIONAL ROUTES IN THE PROVINCE OF THE FREE STATE – PACKAGE 2. This project is in the province of the Free State province and in the district municipalities of Mangaung, Xhariep and Lejweleputswa. The approximate duration is 9 months.

Tenderers interested in the two packages, must submit Returnable Schedules once, with Form of Offer and completed Pricing Schedules for each package as stipulated in Clause 4.13.5 of the Tender Data.

CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this contract. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, are eligible to tender.

It is a requirement on both packages that the successful tenderer/s subcontract a minimum of forty (40) percent (40%) of the Contract Value by the end of the contract to Targeted Enterprise(s) as defined in the Contract Data.

No mandatory subcontracting requirements for EME.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email to ProcurementER3@sanral.co.za, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to Friday, 02 June 2023. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

TENDERER’S CLARIFICATION

A tenderer’s clarification briefing presentation is available to be downloaded in electronic format by the following link: https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national

A compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on Thursday, 08 June 2023 at 10:00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Tuesday, 04 July 2023.

Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
