WORK PACKAGE NO: 1 – SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTING

SUBCONTRACT FOR THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL LIGHTING INFRASTRUCTURE ON NATIONAL ROUTE N2 SECTION 26 TO 30 (TOLL/NON-TOLL)

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1) CLOSING DATE (AT 12 noon): FRIDAY, 20 JUNE 2025

Burlington Electrical (PTY) LTD t/a MG Electrical invites tenders Subcontract for The Routine Maintenance of Electrical Lighting Infrastructure on National Route N2 Section 27 – KWAMBONAMBI INTERCHANGE. This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the district municipality/local municipality of King Cetshwayo District.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2 who are EME/QSE, CIDB grading 3 EP or higher and who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at the tender closing date and provide the mandatory requirements are eligible to tender.

Mandatory Requirements:

•                 Proof of Locality within the King Cetshwayo District

•                 Proof Tenderer is an EME/QSE

•                 Proof of B-BBEE level 1 or 2

•                 Proof of CIDB 3EP or higher

•                 Proof of CSD confirmation and active. Physical address on CSD must be within the King Cetshwayo District.

•                 Proof of Compliance with the COID Act

•                 Proof of Tax Compliance.

•                 Proof of CIPC Registration

•                 Proof of registration with the Department of Labour

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to the sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 06th of June 2025. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
