T1.1     TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE LEASE OF ERF 3045 PIETERMARITZBURG FT

The project is located in the Msunduzi Municipality which forms part of the uMgungundlovu District Municipality of the KwaZulu Natal Province. The approximate duration of the Contract is nine (9) years eleven (11) months, plus twelve (12) months for statutory compliance. 

Only tenderers with demonstrable and relevant experience in the operation and management of a commercial property comprising a filling station shall be eligible to submit tender offers.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender.

A compulsory briefing session

A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on the on Friday, 24 July  2026 at 11H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late[VM1] . Please use the link provided below to attend the compulsory briefing meeting.

A compulsory site meeting to point out site boundaries and inspect the property will be held on Monday, 27 July 2026 at 10:00 am at Erf 3045 Pietermaritzburg - FT/101 New England Road. The Tenderer shall acquaint himself/herself with the property being leased and developed.

Bidders must send an email to the contact person to request for link to join the meeting, Closing date for the request is 2 days prior to the Briefing Session.

Late arrivals (15 Minutes late) will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tender representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting. 

A tender briefing presentation will be sent to all Bidders who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
