TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of Consulting Engineering Services for the Upgrade of Old Howick Road (R103) from Cedara Interchange (km 0.00) to Athlone Circle (km 11.00). This project is in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal, in the uMgungundlovu District Municipality, within the uMngeni and uMsunduzi Local Municipalities. The approximate programme is for design and procurement documentation to be completed by April 2028, followed by supervision of 21 months including mobilization period, commencing October 2028.

Only Tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the Key Persons as stipulated in Tender Data, Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.

Joint Ventures (JVs) will be allowed on condition that 1 (one) JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise.  The JV partner will, however, not contribute to the sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises (if applicable).
