TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND SMALL CONTRACTOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT IN STEYNSBURG ALONG R56 SECTION 2 FROM (KM 0) TO (KM 30.
This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the Joe Gqabi District district municipality and Walter Sisulu Local Municipality, and the approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by October 2027, followed by supervision of twenty months, commencing in April 2028.
Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.
Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

Non-compulsory clarification session
A non- compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be conducted virtually on 04 August 2026 at 10h00 for a period of ± 2 (two) hours.
