T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for: FOR THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TOLL PLAZAS ON THE NATIONAL ROUTE N2 NORTH (Retender) (Contractor)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Operations and Maintenance of Toll Plazas on the N2 North Coast Toll Route. This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the eThekwini metro and in the district municipalities of iLembe and uThungulu. The approximate duration is 73.5 months including 6 weeks for the Establishment Period. The approximate duration includes the Design-Build and Operation Service Period.

Note: the successful Tenderer shall be required to appoint the Incumbent System Integrator and a Nominated Subcontractor, that will be nominated by SANRAL, for the Design Build Operations and Maintenance of the Toll System for this project.

A COMPULSORY BRIEFING SESSION

A compulsory briefing session will be conducted virtually on the 15 November 2026, at 12H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session link will go live from 12:00. Information will not be repeated for the benefit of Tenderers arriving late.

The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Tenderers arriving late. Late arrivals (15 Minutes late) will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A Tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one Tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

A tender-class briefing presentation will be sent to all Tenderers who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to ensure they receive the presentation.
