The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders FOR THE UPGRADING OF NATIONAL ROAD R573 SECTION 2: WORK PACKAGE B FROM KM 36.20 TO KM 48.16

 This project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality of the Nkangala District Municipality. The approximate duration is 39 months.

Only tenderers who are a CIDB contractor grading of 9CE or higher as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers.

 It is a condition of this Tender that the successful Bidder shall subcontract a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the Final Contract Value to Targeted Enterprises.

 Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted. 

 Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender.

A compulsory briefing session

 A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on the 17 JULY 2026, at 09H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late.

 Bidders must send an email to the contact person to request for link to join the meeting, Closing date for the request is 2 days prior to the Briefing Session.

Late arrivals (15 Minutes late) will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting. 

 A tender clarification briefing presentation will be sent to all Bidders who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
