T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for for FLOOD REPAIRS TO THE MHLALI RIVER BRIDGE ON P103.
This project is in the province of KwaZulu Natal in the district municipality of iLembe and local municipality of KwaDukuza. The approximate duration is 24 months.
Only tenderers who are a CIDB contractor grading of 8CE or higher as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers.
Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted.
Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender.

Compulsory clarification meeting (In-person)
A compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held at SANRAL KwaZulu Natal provincial Office, The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited, 58 Van Eck Place Mkondeni Pietermaritzburg
on 02 March 2026 at 11 am. Tenderers must pre-book for attendance at the clarification briefing meeting. Due to restrictions on numbers of attendees, only one representative per tenderer/company can attend the briefing meeting. A request to attend the clarification briefing meeting must be sent to Procurementsr3@sanral.co.za
Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.
A tender briefing presentation will be sent to all Bidders who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
