T1.1     TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders FOR THE PROVISION OF ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE PROJECTS IN THE (NORTH-WEST PROVINCE) described in the table below:

The approximate construction period is as per the table above. The commencement date of the contract will be communicated at the Handover meeting.

Only tenderers who are a CIDB contractor grading of 7CE or higher as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers.

Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted. 

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender.

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

A compulsory briefing session

A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on the 05 October 2026 @ 11:00am for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Bidders arriving late.

Tenderers will be allowed into the meeting up to 30 minutes before the indicated start time. This is to allow all tenderers to complete their registration information. An online tender register for the Briefing Session will be shared in the meeting chat forum for completion.

The meeting chairperson will indicate the time for the closing of the registration at the start of the meeting. The Tender Registration will be closed at the time indicated by the meeting Chairperson. Late registration will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

A tender clarification briefing presentation will be sent to all Bidders who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
