T1.1     TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for Contract: SANRAL N.010-060-2025/1 FOR THE PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (REPAIR & RESEAL) OF NATIONAL ROUTE 10 SECTION 6 FROM HANOVER (KM 0.00) TO DIEPRIVIER (KM 20.00)

This project is in the province of Northern Cape and in the district municipality of Pixley ka Seme.  The approximate duration is 14 months including 3 months for the Mobilization Period.

Only tenderers who are a CIDB contractor grading of 8CE or higher as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers.

Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted. CIDB Regulation 25(1B) will not be applicable to this tender

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender.

A compulsory briefing session

A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on Monday, 14 September 2026, at 10H00 for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late. The briefing meeting can be accessed using the following link:

Tenderers will be allowed into the meeting up to 30 minutes before the indicated start time. This is to allow all tenderers to complete their registration information. An online tender register for the Briefing Session will be shared in the meeting chat forum for completion.

The meeting Chairperson will indicate the time for the closing of the registration at the start of the meeting. The tender registration will be closed at the time indicated by the meeting Chairperson. Late

registration will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive.

 A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

A tender clarification briefing presentation will be sent to all bidders who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure they receive the presentation.
